The National Centre for Technology in Education  - NCTE - is agency established under the aegis of the Department of Education and Science to provide advice, support and information on the use of information and communications technology (ICT) in education.  The agency is responsible for developing the infrastructure for information and communication technologies in schools; providing ICT training to teachers; developing and providing digital resources to schools and the education portal, www.scoilnet.ie    Its activities include:
