The following arrangements for staff meetings were agreed under the terms of the Social Partnership Agreement “Sustaining Progress 2003-2005”:  In respect of one staff meeting per term, all second-level schools will make provision to allocate from normal school time, a period equivalent to the time given outside school.  Example: a staff meeting of two hours duration which was normally held before school closing time should now take place one hour preceding and one hour following normal school closing time.  Arrangements for staff meetings are set out in Department of Education and Science Circular Letter M58/04.
