ASTI - Ireland's main second level teachers union

The ASTI is organised in branches of schools in geographical regions. Each school is affiliated to a branch. At present, there are 56 branches in the country. Each branch elects members to the Central Executive Council (CEC) and delegates to the Annual Convention. The CEC normally meets twice a year and the Standing Committee, which meets on a monthly basis.
