Those who entered teaching between 1st January 2011 and 31st January 2012, and who are already in receipt of qualification allowances above that of Honours Primary Degree allowance level, will continue to receive these allowances:

| (b) | (i) H.Dip in Ed. / PGDE (1st or 2nd Hons) | now incorporated into scale |
| (ii) Ard Teastas Gaeilge | now incorporated into scale | |
| (c) | Primary Degree (Pass) - now incorporated into scale | now incorporated into scale |
| (d) | Masters Degree by thesis or exam (Pass) | now incorporated into scale |
| (e) | Primary Degree (1st, 2nd or 3rd Hons) | now incorporated into scale |

Either of the allowances (a) or (b) may be held together with any one of the allowances (c) to (g).
