ASTI calls on schools to release personal protective equipment

The ASTI has called on school management bodies to encourage second-level schools to make available to local healthcare authorities any personal protective equipment stored in their schools.

In a letter to the JMB, ACCS and ETBI ASTI General Secretary Kieran Christie said visors, goggles, masks and hand sanitisers are amongst the materials used by second-level schools across a wide range of subjects.
