Is é an ASTI an príomh cheardchumann a chuireann comhairle ar fáil do mhúinteoirí dara leibhéal in Éirinn. Tugann sé tacaíocht do 20,200 múinteoirí i scoileanna pobail, coláistí pobail, scoileanna cuimsitheacha agus meánscoileanna deonacha.

The ASTI is Ireland's main second level teachers union and represents 20,200 teachers in community schools, community colleges, comprehensive schools and voluntary secondary schools.
