The Department of Education and Youth has issued a Circular Letter setting out the application of a 1.35% increase to post primary teachers’ pay scales.
The increase is composed of two elements;
- A 1% increase due under the Public Sector Pay Agreement 2024 – 2026.
- A 0.35% increase related to the remaining balance of the Sectoral Bargaining Fund as provided for in the Building Momentum Pay Agreement 2020-2024.
