Applications are being sought from ASTI members interested in serving on behalf of ASTI on the below listed Irish Congress of Trade Unions committees until the next ICTU Congress Biennial Delegate Conference in July 2027.
(a) The Congress Health and Safety Committee 2023 – 2025
(b) The Congress Womens’ Committee 2023 – 2025
(c) The Congress Retired Workers’ Committee 2023 – 2025
(d) The Congress Disability Committee 2023 – 2025
(e) The Congress Global Solidarity Committee 2023 – 2025
(f) The Congress Youth Advisory Committee 2023 – 2025 – (ASTI has been asked to consider nominating two members under the age of 35)

Members who are interested in being nominated for any of the committees should follow the instructions below. If interested in being nominated to serve on more than one committee please provide separate applications.
ASTI members who are interested in being nominated to serve on these ICTU Committees should email their name and contact details together with an A4 page outlining their suitability to the ASTI General Secretary, [email protected] by close of business Friday 19th September 2025.
Final decisions regarding ASTI nominees to the ICTU Congress Youth Committee will be taken by ASTI Standing Committee.
