The ASTI is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Kelly as General Secretary. Linda will take up the role of General Secretary in late September.
Linda is currently National Secretary for Health and Social Care Professionals, Pharmacy and Statutory Regulation at Fórsa where she co-leads the union’s largest division (Health and Welfare), representing 34,000 union members across 33 branches nationwide.
In her role with Fórsa, Linda has led major national negotiations and disputes - including the HSE Pay and Numbers dispute - and has extensive experience in collective bargaining, national agreements, and complex casework.
Linda holds a Master’s in Leadership and Strategy (IPA) and a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy (UCC). She is a former pupil of St Aloysius' College, Carrigtwohill.
In 2022 Linda was named amongst the Irish Examiner 100 Women Changing Ireland for her contribution as a women’s health activist.
