Is é an ASTI an príomh cheardchumann a chuireann comhairle ar fáil do mhúinteoirí dara leibhéal in Éirinn. Tugann sé tacaíocht do 18,800 múinteoirí i scoileanna pobail, coláistí pobail, scoileanna cuimsitheacha agus meánscoileanna deonacha.

The ASTI is Ireland's main second level teachers union and represents 18,800 teachers in community schools, community colleges, comprehensive schools and voluntary secondary schools.
