At a meeting of the ASTI Central Executive Council today it was decided to refer the WRC public sector pay proposals to a ballot of ASTI members.
The WRC pay proposals were issued last week following talks between representatives of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions’ Public Services Committee and Government officials.
Details regarding the conduct of the ballot will be posted on the ASTI website as soon as they are available.
