The teacher unions (ASTI, INTO, TUI) are co-operating on a pilot project to increase awareness of health and safety legislation, including the role of Safety Representatives in schools.
These seminars are open to Safety Representatives in schools who are members of any of the three unions, to other members with a particular interest in health and safety, and to officers of local ASTI, INTO or TUI branches.
The next seminar will take place on Wednesday 23 May in the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny. The seminar will commence at 5p.m. and will include input from speakers with specialist expertise in health and safety. A buffet dinner will be served at 7p.m.
Participant registration is essential. In order to register your attendance, please email Georgina Glackin ([email protected]) by 5 p.m. on Friday 18 May stating your union and if you have any specific dietary requirements.
