Donegal teacher receives ASTI Bursary
Donegal teacher Teresa Gallagher will receive an ASTI Bursary at a reception in Dublin tonight (Friday, May 26th).
Teresa, a teacher at Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, is undertaking a PhD in Education at Dublin City University. Her research aims to explore inclusivity challenges relating to students with additional educational needs in second-level schools in Gaeltacht DEIS* regions. She aims to provide an evidence-base that will inform policy-making pertaining to minority languages.
The ASTI Bursary Award scheme assists ASTI members in undertaking further studies relating to teaching, education or trade unionism.
