Teachers’ pay
The Public Sector Agreement (2024-2026) comes to an end in June 2026.
The final general pay round within the current agreement provides for a 1% increase to salaries from 1 June 2026. A local bargaining pay increase of 1% provided for in the Public Sector Agreement (2024-2026) is not yet finalised.
Talks on a successor pay agreement are expected to begin shortly. Ahead of this, the ASTI is highlighting the gap between inflation and pay progression since the commencement of the Building Momentum Pay Agreement in 2021.
